Westmont Wedding – Ainsley & Zach
This couple first met back in kindergarten at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Westmont which was also where they tied the not almost 25 years later! Both of their families were active in Westmont community activities, so after the wedding, we got access to the local ball fields for wedding party photos. This meant a lot to Zach who spent a lot of time on these fields growing up.
I love how the photos on the field as well as how all the bridal party photos turned out because the bright color palette they chose really pops! The bright pinks and oranges worked really well for this July wedding. The couple even integrated the colors in to the invitations and in so many wedding details. From the bouquets, to the garter, and even Blarney the dog’s bow tie! I loved this little scruffy guy who was just trying to be “one of the girls!”
While the girls got ready, they guys had their macho pictures taken too. But the machismo quickly faded as Ainsley walked down the aisle. Zach’s emotions were priceless and genuine. This couple was absolutely right to save the first look for the church as it was a great moment for all to see how utterly in love these two are!
Ok, so finally… Here comes the bride! Hold it together, Zach! And then there’s the kiss!!! Yes, the runner says it all, “Happily Ever After Starts Here!”
After the ceremony, the guests headed to Ruth Lake County Club in Hinsdale to start the reception festivities. The bridal party hung back for some more pictures and finally started to let loose – as you can tell! Such a fine group and the groom is the one who had the most ideas for creative shots – ha!
And then, my favorite part of the wedding day – when I get to steal the couple away for some bridal portraits and allow the newly weds to have some time to take a breath, spend time with just the two of them, and allow them to have the moment sink in…..And….get the best shots!
And then it’s time for fun. I love the details of the weddings, especially receptions. I know many couples spend so much time on all these details that reflect their personality, and make the event truly their own. Plus, the decor was gorgeous and the color scheme extended to the reception as well!
